In his address to the country on the 100th-day anniversary of his presidency, Barack Obama said:
“You know, the typical president, I think, has two or three big problems. We’ve got seven or eight big problems. And so we’ve had to move very quickly and I’m very proud of my team for the fact that we’ve been able to keep our commitments to the American people, to bring about change, while at the same time managing a whole host of issues that had come up that weren’t necessarily envisioned a year-and-a-half ago.”
There’s no doubt Obama is tackling many of the country’s serious issues. Is he doing too much? Probably, but it’s a refreshing change from the last president who spent much of his two terms sweeping our problems under the rug while generating a whole new set of problems by preemptively attacking other countries and doubling our national debt at a time of relative prosperity.
Walgreens has ordered all of its stores to stop selling the “Chia Obama” immediately. Walgreen’s spokesman Michael Polzin explained that local store managers are authorized to sell or deny products on their own. However, the Walgreens corporate office asked all stores to pull the product from their shelves because it is “not appropriate for the company’s corporate image.”
